Ivy Delivers a Parting Threat to [Spoiler] — and a Tearful Katie Seeks Validation From Brooke
In the Logan showroom, Bill and Liam admire Katie as she walks the catwalk ahead of the fashion show.
Bill marvels to Katie about what a success their start-up will be. She grins, “Let’s do this.” Liam coordinates with the staff and the fashion show kicks off with several lavender numbers.
Over at Forrester, they’re watching the fashion show live. Brooke and Ridge cringe and Eric rants that this whole thing is humiliating.
At Logan, the fashion show is still in full swing with Katie beaming. At Forrester, Ridge tells his dad the designs are amazing. Eric groans that this may be the lowest point of his career given the dresses are Logan. “What have I done?!” Ridge talks up his dad’s artistic genius and Brooke co-signs. Nonetheless, Eric’s sorry. Brooke announces she can’t take it anymore… she’s going over there (we’d expect nothing less).
In the design office, Electra tells RJ she’s sorry about dinner last night. He just wants to help her forget about Will. They go over the stolen letter for the zillionth time. RJ thinks Ivy did her a favor. In the hallway, Ivy tells Daphne she’s leaving Forrester, L.A., and her niece… all because of her. Way to take accountability, Ivy!
Daphne scoffs that she should have spoken up sooner. In the design office, Electra’s still pouting about her aunt. Ever the sensitive guy, RJ pushes her to make a decision between him and Will.
In the hallway, Daphne tells Ivy she went about things the wrong way. Ivy supposes she’s right, but she still hopes Electra won’t go back to Will Spencer. She needs to explore a relationship with RJ. At that very moment, RJ is putting the pressure on with Electra. She should have the man she deserves (him, obviously).
In the hall, Ivy makes it clear to Daphne that she’s only taking a leave of absence, and she WILL be back. In the design office, Electra is our newest waffler, not sure what to do about Will and RJ, who reminds her that her ex took comfort with Dylan… and that they had the night of the lemon bars.
Over at Logan, Katie takes a deep breath as the showstopper is modeled on the runway and the show comes to a close. The reviews start rolling in and they’re incredible. Liam reports that the website has gone nuclear! Bill teases that he smells money… Katie’s a hit!
Liam heads upstairs after congratulating Katie, leaving Bill to tell his wife that he’s proud of her. She’s a Bonafide success. She thanks him for everything, and they express their love and kiss. Bill also heads upstairs. Katie walks onto the runway in time for Brooke to stroll in and start in on her.
The Final Scenes
In the design office, RJ waxes on about the “times” he and Electra have shared. He goes on about Will letting Dylan stay at the beach house and needles about how close they’ve gotten. Electra lets him kiss her. Electra then tells him he makes it hard to say… anything. No kidding! She could hardly get a word in edgewise.
At Logan, Brooke snarks that Katie got her money’s worth; she’s sure Eric’s line will be profitable, which is all Bill cares about. Katie thinks it’s too bad Eric won’t design for her again, it was a wonderful collaboration. Brooke snorts, “Is that what you’re calling it?”
Katie asks why she’s even there. Brooke launches into the same ol’ song and dance about her leaching off her name. Katie exclaims that she’s her sister… she should expect more from her! Is it so hard for her to acknowledge her hard work and congratulate her?! There’s nothing she would love to hear more than, “Congratulations, Katie. Say it, Brooke. Please. Say it.”
