Rocco Confesses to [Spoiler] That He Shot Cullum — Plus, Ethan’s Clearly Working an Angle

Dante, Lulu, and Rocco have coffee at the café. Dante says it’s clear something is going on with Rocco and Danny, and Rocco just wishes he could do something to make things better for his brother. As Dante talks about being there to support his Danny, he unknowingly makes things worse for the boy. Lulu sees this and reminds their son he has to be at GH to make up some hours. Rocco takes off.
Dante wastes no time in asking Lulu what she’s not telling him. Lulu says Rocco can’t fix this situation for Danny, and could make things worse in trying to. Dante notes she sounds overprotective; she sounds like him.
Lulu admits she’s not handling the Jason and Cullum thing well. Then there is Charlotte, whose dad is on the run, and now Ethan’s back in town, claiming he’s not in trouble. She shifts the conversation and asks how Dante is holding up, and he admits he can’t stop thinking about what really happened on the pier and knows he’s missing something. She says he may never know what went down, and they need to focus on Rocco and Danny.
Isaiah Did What?
At the hospital, Curtis spots Isaiah and Portia chatting, and Isaiah feels the baby kick. He approaches them and is upset to learn that she had a check-up with Britt today, which he didn’t know about, and that Isaiah attended.
Portia says Britt had a last-minute cancellation, so she jumped on it. Isaiah excuses himself, and Portia just assumed Curtis would want to be with Jordan. Curtis is understanding and says, in the future, just give him the option to be there. She agrees, saying he didn’t miss much, and notes that their baby is very healthy.
Curtis and Portia talk about the baby, how he or she will be here soon, and it’s something to look forward to.
Jordan Snaps!
Felicia meets with Jordan about her health insurance and coverage, and also suggests she check out the hospital’s trauma support group. Jordan thanks her for the suggestion, but insists she’ll be fine. As an officer, she was trained how to deal with trauma, and she has a great support group in Curtis and Stella.
After Felicia departs, Isaiah checks on Jordan and tries to reassure her that they have a great plastics team, and the fact that her eyes and mouth weren’t damaged makes her a great candidate. Jordan cries that it could take years of surgeries, and her face affects how people see her and react to her. She hates the idea of children screaming in fear at the sight of her.
Curtis appears as Jordan is yelling at Isaiah to get the hell out. Isaiah, who was only trying to help, apologizes to Jordan and departs. Jordan assures Curtis Isaiah didn’t upset her; it’s just all the people visiting and all the information, it’s too much for her. Curtis says he’ll give her space and room to breathe, but he’s not going anywhere, as he loves her.
Britt Makes an Interception
Britt confronts Lucas in his office, is grateful he wants to help her, but insists she can do this on her own. Frankly, the medicine comes at too high a price, and she’d rather succumb to her disease than help Sidwell and Cullum build this weapon.
Lucas refuses to believe she’s going to give up, as she’s never backed away from a fight. He also makes the same argument we’ve heard before: if they give up now, Marco would have died for nothing. Britt admits she doesn’t know how much more she can emotionally take.
Meanwhile, Rocco shows up for work and is tasked with taking a pillow to a patient, who turns out to be Cullum. Rocco helps Cullum adjust his pillow into place. As they talk, Britt walks by the door.
Britt interrupts, says Cullum needs his rest, and Rocco is needed for story time in pedes. Once in the hall, Rocco states that he knows he’s not needed in pedes.
Britt takes Rocco to the chapel and warns him to stay away from Cullum. She says he has no idea how evil the man is. Rocco knows and states the man is a killer.
Cody Needs the Truth From Molly
Cody and Molly quickly get hot and heavy at his place, but he puts the brakes on things. She assures him she’s ready, but Cody isn’t. He hates the thought of her in pain and asks if sex with him has ever been painful, and she didn’t tell him.
Molly assures him that she’s never hurt her. However, there has been discomfort in the past. She admits she’s trained herself to push through the pain, and it’s hard to explain. She likes the closeness and connectedness that come with sex. That makes any pain worth it. Cody still doesn’t like it.
Molly can’t guarantee she’ll know what it feels like until they try, but she feels most like herself when she’s with him. He says if she feels discomfort, to tell him and they’ll stop. She promises to always be honest with him. They quickly end up getting back into the mood and hitting the sheets.
Will Sonny Hire Ethan?
At Sonny’s, he introduces Ethan to Ric and asks what brings him to town: what does he need? Ethan says, “A job.” Ethan assures him he’s in no trouble, and they catch up. When Ethan mentions hearing about Jason, Ric immediately accuses Ethan of wanting to take Jason’s place.
Ethan knows nobody can take Jason’s place, and he knows he’d have to prove himself. Sonny says he can trust any son of Luke’s. A suspicious Ric suggests Robert, whom Ethan admitted he had just seen, may have sent him here to infiltrate Sonny’s organization.
Ethan insists Robert has zero interest in Sonny right now, and he’s no rat; his father taught him that a man’s word is his bond. Sonny believes Ethan, but if he wants a job, he’ll have to survive an interview with Ric.
After some softball questions, Ric asks what makes Ethan think he’s qualified to work for Sonny. Ethan says he knows what Jason did as Sonny’s “transportation manager,” how to stay cool in an intense situation, he has a concealed carry permit, and he knows the area. Plus, his dad’s name carries a lot of weight and goodwill in this town. Sonny has heard enough, but Ric thinks Ethan is too big a risk.
Sonny agrees with Ric, but friendship trumps logic, so they’ll give it a try for Luke. He warns Ethan not to abuse his trust, and they shake.
In The Show’s Final Moments
After the deed is done, Cody asks Molly how she’s feeling. She says she’s so happy, and he says he is too.
In the halls of GH, Curtis runs into Isaiah and warns him to stay away from Jordan.
Jordan walks through the halls and runs into Portia. Portia can see Jordan has tired herself out and offers to call Curtis for her. Jordan snaps, saying she knows Portia hates that she’s with Curtis, and that “this” is what it took for her to finally be civil to her. Jordan doesn’t want her pity.
Lulu heads out of the café and calls Ethan to check in. He says he has a few more stops to make before he gets to her place, but he landed a job working for Sonny. She asks if this is the best idea? Ethan says he is exactly where he needs to be…
At Sonny’s, Ric still warns his brother that he made a mistake hiring the guy. Sonny feels Ethan wouldn’t use Luke’s memory to betray him, but he feels Ethan is hiding something and is working an angle, so he has to keep him close. He’s doing this for Luke.
Back at GH, Dante stops in to see Cullum with questions about the shooting, particularly about how Jason got hold of his gun. Cullum quickly clams up and tells Dante he has enough facts for an adequate and accurate report.
In the chapel, Rocco reveals he knows Cullum tried to kill Britt on the pier; he was there. He confesses it wasn’t Jason who shot the WSB agent, it was him!
On the next General Hospital, Isaiah warns Portia that peace might not last long, Lulu warns Joss that Cullum is trouble, and Britt fears if Cullum learns about Rocco then they’re both dead!
