As Steffy Sounds the Alarm, Sheila Violently Attacks Taylor With a Pizza Cutter
In Taylor’s office, she wonders if Sheila hurt someone to get the nurse uniform. Sheila fumes that she doesn’t get to ask questions. She wants and deserves to know… “Are you having an affair with my husband?!”
Sheila grills Taylor about being all alone that night, having pizza from Il Giardino’s. “When did you order it? What kind was it?” Taylor flashes to Deacon tossing the pizza down when he arrived and stammers. Sheila states that she found sand in Deacon’s shoes the next morning. “You’ve been cheating behind my back. Why don’t you just admit it, Taylor! Admit it!”
Nearly jumping out of her skin, Taylor backs up as Sheila bears down and demands to know why Deacon was there earlier. She saw their little intimate moment together. “So, stop with your lying!” Sheila wants to know if this is a passing fling, hoping there are no real feelings. She screams. Taylor understates, “I can see you’re upset.” Taking her very life in her hands, Taylor confesses that she’s been seeing Deacon and they’re in love.
Sheila muses that she’s been telling everyone for months that Taylor was a miracle-worker, but she was never trying to help her… she was leading Deacon away from her. “How could you be so selfish? So unethical?” Taylor takes her licks as Sheila spouts off about her stabbing her in the back and calls her a two-faced cheating bitch.
Sheila declares that this stops now. She’s not going to see her husband anymore and she’ll respect her marriage. Taylor stammers that she and Deacon can’t fight it anymore. “We’re in love.” Sheila argues that she and Deacon are in love… and Taylor’s going to respect that if it’s the last thing she does.
Are You Sure Sure
Hope tracks Deacon down at Il Giardino and tells him she and Deke are concerned… it looks as though he is too. Deacon tries to assure Hope that Sheila isn’t onto them, but she’s not so sure. Deacon’s pretty confident he would have heard if his wife had any suspicions. Hope muses, “So, you think you dodged a bullet.” Deacon’s convinced Sheila is completely in the dark.
Deacon warns that Steffy knows this happened and he’s already been summoned to Forrester for a lecture. He insists he doesn’t want to cheat on his wife. This isn’t about Sheila, it’s about his feelings for Taylor. Hope nods, “You love her.”
Sounding the Alarm
Finn arrives at home, where Steffy frantically tells him, “It’s about your Birth Mother™, Sheila.” Finn learns that Sheila nearly walked in on Deacon and her mother in bed. He’s incredulous as Steffy recounts how Sheila was banging on the door with a knife. They both would have been dead if Deacon hadn’t split. Steffy rants that Deacon put her whole family in danger.
Finn huffs, puffs and sighs as Steffy rambles about Deacon taking advantage of her mom. This needs to be a wake-up call for everyone.
Creating a Future
At Carter and Daphne’s place, the newlyweds gush about creating a beautiful future… perhaps nine months from now. They joke about all the “trying” they’ve done and then she pulls out a pregnancy test. More flowery speeches ensue until she does the test.
Carter and Daphne decide to sit together nervously until the test is ready. He’s sure it will confirm that they’re going to have a child.
The Final Scenes
Sheila asks Taylor, “Are you afraid of me?” and smirks at her trembling like a leaf while she brandishes a pizza cutter. Saying she’s not the same Sheila Carter she used to be, she slams down the potential weapon and grits, “Did you really think you could have a future with my husband?!”
Taylor stands frozen as Sheila rants that people think she’s crazy and unhinged, but she’s not. Taylor points out that she came into her bedroom with a knife. Sheila maintains that she’s not the bad one here. She’s grown and matured. Taylor eyes the pizza cutter as Sheila roars about her affair with her husband. Did she think she would just walk away?! She won’t allow Taylor to come between her and Deacon. She’s sure they’d be happy if Taylor ceased to exist. With that, she clears the desk and attacks Taylor with the pizza cutter, licking it when Taylor’s screams finally fall silent.
