Sophia’s Plan Takes Off as Holly Loses Control, and Brady Admits His Feelings to Sarah

Xander wishes Marlena a happy Valentine’s Day in the square — which is set up for a Pan-Helenic V-Day mixer — before heading to the driving range. She, meanwhile, is off to dinner with friends, and one of those friends shows up: Maggie, with Sarah and Victoria! Awkwardness ensues.
But then Xander and Sarah approach each other and the ladies leave. Xander has a teddy bear and chocolates for the stroller tot. Those chocolates get them thinking about the marriage proposal chocolate cake, and they both get a bit choked up and part ways.
Will Brady and Sarah Take a Chance?
Tate’s helping Brady get the new place (which seems kinda… compact) together for a date night with Holly. He’s not happy to learn Kristen yanked Rachel out of Bayview. Or that Kristen’s moving in. But Brady explains The Plan to his son and promises there’s zero chance that this will lead to getting back with Kristen. (But, um, yeah, never say never.)
Sarah pushes Victoria into the Pub and joins Brady for a Valentine’s Day dinner and fills him in on her emotional run-in with Xander. She is, though, happy to hear that Rachel’s out of Bayview, until he tells her how and why. Actually, she finds the idea of Kristen moving in hilarious — and the idea of Brady setting boundaries.
Sophia’s Plan Takes Off
Somewhere along the way, Sophia’s room got all decked out for Valentine’s Day, but that’s not important. What is important is her putting her massive pill in a tin instead of taking it. Then Dr. Gregory walks in and Sophia covers with a book. But the doc is still suspicious. She knows about the note, and Rachel’s gone.
The doc wants her to participate in therapy more, so Sophia gives her a thumbs up and gets right back to scheming against Holly. (Also, Sophia’s mom decorated.)
Holly and Ari, meanwhile, are getting ready for the Valentine’s Day bash — Holly was in a panic because she lost her pills, but then Bayview found them. They’re supplements, not a prescription. Maybe just buy new ones next time, Holly.
Holly Flips Out
Holly starts feeling anxious and jumbled after taking her “supplement,” which probably won’t help their rush event. But off they go! Their potential sorority sisters are already drinking it up in the square and they’re giving vague mean girl vibes.
All it takes is a couple mentions of Tate for Holly to flip out and tell the Gamma Gamma Kappa head to stay the hell away from her boyfriend! Holly runs off, horrified. Ari tries doing damage control for Holly, but it doesn’t do much. She’s not for Gamma Gamma Kappa, but once they learn Ari mom runs Gabi Chic, she definitely is!
Sophia rushes to Tate and throws herself into his arms, crying. Those pills move fast. Because when Tate says not getting in wouldn’t be that bad, Holly flips out some more! Tate finally calms her down a bit, and they figure it’s just stress. (And anti-psychotics.)
The Ladies Celebrate Galentine’s Day
Julie makes a few digs at Gwen when she walks by her in the Bistro, then takes a seat, where Maggie and Marlena join her for a “widow’s club.” They reflect on Valentine’s Days past — Maggie and Mickey are another of the V-Day wedding crew — and all dealing with family moving out. Julie gets emotional about having Maggie and Marlena in her life to lean on and they toast to Galentine’s Day.
In the Show’s Final Moments
Off at the driving range, Xander breaks something with his first swing. And that something, we learn when Gwen shows up in a rage, was her windshield. Offering to pay for a new one mollifies her a bit, but doesn’t stop her from criticizing his form! Gwen shows him up with an excellent drive and gives Xander some pointers — of a physical nature. She gets up behind him, reaches her arms around and guides him.
Sophia’s already watching footage of Holly’s freakout on her phone. Even she’s surprised at how fast the pills worked! But then she just starts laughing and laughing in delight! Oh, Sophia.
Brady confesses that he almost got Sarah flowers and that he totally has feelings for her and wishes they were together. Ah, love.
