Steffy Surprises Daphne With Male Dancers — and Deke Catches Dylan Dumpster Diving
At the cliff house, Taylor and Steffy set up for Daphne’s French-themed bachelorette luncheon. Steffy teases that she has a few surprises. But before that, she wants to ask about Deacon. Taylor assures her it’s over. Steffy’s thrilled.
Daphne arrives and Taylor thinks about kissing Deacon as Steffy goes to greet her. Over at Il Giardino, Deacon’s thinking of Taylor too. Deke walks up and guesses he’s off because of his marriage. He’s stunned when his dad tells him they won’t be seeing Taylor anymore.
Deacon tells his son that sometimes you can’t get what you want. He doesn’t know if he’ll see Taylor again.
Hot Stuff
Back at the cliff house, Donna has arrived and the women stand admiring the hunky servers. Daphne tells Steffy that she and Carter never would have met if not for her. Because she hired her to seduce him away from Hope, ‘memba? Daphne asks her pal to be her maid of honor and she accepts.
Steffy makes a toast, and tells Daphne she’s going to make the most beautiful bride. Daphne explains that they want to wed right away. Nine months from now they could have another celebration. The girls squeal as she reveals they really want to start a family right away.
Steffy knows Daphne wanted the party to be low-key, but they need to have a little dancing. “Hit it boys!” she calls out. The servers turned male dancers emerge from the kitchen and put on quite a show, taking turns dancing with all the women.
Popping the Question
At Forrester, Ridge thinks about the situation with Taylor. Carter strolls in and asks him to be his best man.
Ridge learns that Carter wants to marry Daphne in the showroom. Ridge chuckles, “That’s great.” Carter tells him it feels different with Daphne. Ridge thinks maybe it’s the D word… Destiny.
The pair of them sit down to eat pizza and Carter explains that this is his bachelor party. They “cheers” with their slices. Talk turns to Katie and who her designer will be. Ridge has no idea, but wants to keep the focus on Carter.
Paging Dylan
By the runway, Will teases Electra, who tells him about a ballerina setting on a ring. He flashes to Dylan dancing and asks his girlfriend if she’s heard from her. Electra hasn’t, but she’s glad something finally is going her way. At that very moment, Dylan’s at the dumpster out behind Il Giardino looking for food. Electra tells Will that Dylan hasn’t returned her calls, but if she needed them, she’d have reached out by now.
Looking around the back alley behind Il Giardino, Dylan opens a box and takes a bite of leftover pizza.
In the restaurant, Deke urges Deacon not to stop seeing Taylor. His dad asks him to take out the trash. He does so, and catches Dylan chowing down. He hollers, “Hey! What are you doing?!”
The Final Scenes
As the bachelorette winds down, Daphne tells Steffy she knew exactly what she needed. Steffy teases Donna about being offered the caterer/dancer’s phone number… which she turned down. Daphne thanks them all for helping usher her into her future with Carter… and their future family.
In the showroom, Electra and Will smooch until she gets called away. Once alone, Will thinks about Dylan. “I just hope you’re happy, Dylan,” he sighs.
Behind Il Giardino, Deke apologizes if he scared Dylan and asks if she has a place to stay. She wipes away a tear as he realizes she’s living in her car. Deke introduces himself and she tells him her name is Dylan. He assures her everything is going to be OK. “I’m going to help you.”
